SID: I’m going to pray for him, but I want one more person to join us. Jeri, could you come up?
STEVE: Umm, thank you.
SID: Steve’s wife.
STEVE: Could I, can I say this? Jeri came out of a violent situation. She was, her mother was raped at 17 years of age and Jerry was born out of that rape. And she was beaten all the way through her childhood. And, uh, I’ve heard so many stories from other people that lived around their house I didn’t want to hear anymore. Especially the one of your stepfather chasing you around with a hatchet. I can’t imagine that little kids being chased by a drunken man with a hatchet. That’s a horror movie. But look at her, man. She just, she loves the Lord, not a bitter bone in her body. Okay, I’m going to shut up.
SID: (laughs) Stretch your hands out towards Steve and Jeri. Father God, Steve is an encourager to us. Anything Steve is doing, his heart’s desire is he wants a million other people to be doing. Father, I pray before he’s promoted, that he gets the, the desire of his heart. One million people, one million Steve Hills, raised up, on fire, hungry for God, hungry that will, a hunger that will not cease until they’re raptured. And Father, I pray that You would continue to give Steve and Jeri your strength. I pray that You would give Steve and Jeri Your wisdom. I pray You would give Steve and Jeri Your discernment. And I pray, most of all, O Mighty God, that they would have greater and greater intimacy with You each day. And I pray, Father God, for a supernatural endowment of Your peace that will drive out every religious, every demon that is, he talked about Carlos Anacondia.
I pray that when Steve speaks those demons will tremble just like they trembled with our Apostles, just like they trembled with the words of Jesus. I pray, Father God, that You would use him to destroy that avalanche before it comes forth. Father, I pray that millions of Christians will be snapped out of their hypnotic state and walk away from the feel good Gospel to the cross. God, let Your cross be lifted up. Let Your life be lifted up. Father God, I pray for a greater fire coming out of Steve that would burn sin at its very roots. And I pray for openings for him in the secular media. I pray, Father God, that he would get opportunities to speak. And Father, the one thing I know is that he’s doing it with a pure heart for You. And I pray, Father God, that you would continue to strengthen Jeri and make her the, make her the help-mate to Steve to accomplish this, the greatest task he’s had in his life. In Yeshua’s name, I pray. Amen.
